Here's everything I have in my possession that was created in part or in whole by the artist Chris Ware. Includes a complete set of every Acme Novelty Library publication (#1 - 20 / Annual Report), work on various mags and books like the New Yorker and Granta, and individual cartoons from New City in the mid 1990s and the NYT Mag in the 2000s. Bonus: early 1990s poster collaborations with the screenprint poster artist Steve Walters of Screwball Press. Mr. Ware, if you are perusing these pages, please know that I am not a base financialist but a true admirer. I've never sold a single item from the Library, and have no plans to do so. If these items appear to be insufficiently read (as you can plainly see, in some cases never taken out of their plastic wrapping), please be advised that I am not much of a reader of anything, save the Internet and the daily edition of the New York Times, printed in Chicago. It's the objects I love. See prior art, Bibliography of American Poetry Told Through the Pulitzer Prize, wherein the volumes went unread but the books themselves studied with passion. I can report that there is hope, as my children are avid comics readers. Dog-ears to come. --DXO
